Try Lemons & Limes in Place of Vinegar

Try Lemons and Limes instead of vinegar in any recipe. I know this is such a bummer to hear cause vinegar in foods like pickles, sauerkraut, olives and especially vinaigrettes, ketchup and mustard are so tasty.

Vinegar was actually the hardest ingredient for me to remove. I have always craved salty foods and instead of eating more mineral salts in the form of things like herbs, leafy greens, cucumbers etc, I thought my body needed table salt, chips, and vinegary items always sounded good. It wasn’t until I learned from Medical Medium Books that it wasn’t serving me to keep vinegar in my diet and once I removed it, I started feeling less run down and dehydrated.  I also noticed my digestion improved.

I love lemons and limes in place of vinegar and their benefits are MANY. You can even use lemon juice to do a quick pickle of cucumbers if you need that sharp taste, just try not to let it break down and ferment the vegetable too much where you lose benefits. Give it a try! It’s a wonderful habit to swap and can help you feel better over time 🌟

Benefits of Lemons & Limes

Why is Vinegar Unproductive?

“Vinegar dehydrates the body on a deep, deep organ level, and when you’re cleansing, you don’t want to dehydrate the body. Vinegar preserves poisons, trapping them in your organs—and not so that it can then drive them out of your body. Toxins dehydrate us, as they require an abundance of water to dilute them and eventually flush them out of our cells so they can safely leave our organs without hurting us. Rather than help flush out these toxins, vinegar allows toxins to penetrate our cells and organs because it sucks the water out of cells, and that even drives poisons and toxins deeper into organ tissue.” — “Vinegar Reality Check“ blogpost by Anthony William
